How the Tanker Operations Team and Many Others Get Gasoline to You

When we fill up our cars at the gas pump, how many of us stop to think about how that gasoline got there? The fuel that you use in your vehicle has had a long and interesting ride before ending up at your neighborhood convenience store. It all starts when the crude oil is pumped from the ground by huge machines. It is then transported to an oil tanker. The tanker operations team oversees the trip by sea to the destination country. The tanker operations team then assists in unloading the cargo and sends it on its way to be refined. After a complicated refinement process, gasoline is transferred to large trucks to be taken to gas stations. The fuel is offloaded into the storage tanks at the gas stations, where you later pump it into your car.
